Microsoft Jumpin’ Jive Orchestra Pictures

You don’t take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.” ~Anon

I asked a friend of mine to take some photos at the last Microsoft Jumpin’ Jive Orchestra gig. We have a lot of fun playing swing music, especially when the swing dancers show up. This one was special because we had a guest female vocalist. So I thought I’d share some with you. The rest are on my Flickr site.

Yeah, I have done a number of iterations of 4, 5, 6, and even ten fronts. Gotta say the current generation of fronts works for three groups; big band, rock band, & sax quartet. That’s a nice sweet spot for me. YMMV.
