I minored in art when I was in college. A painter, the classes were some of my favorite. I had given up music because I didn’t have time for an all consuming hobby/minor. Art didn’t take as much time.
So when I heard of Pinterest, I dabbled with the new social media platform. It is a nice diversion when I’m waiting for a late bus and have tired of reading from my new job syllabus, daily news, and FB stream. While not for everyone, Pinterest is part of my immersion into the world of social media.
