Seattle: Seven Weekends of Springtime Sun

It is amazing to me that we have had seven weekends in a row of sun and fun. Of course the weathermen are all taking credit for the win fall. I don’t care I’m just enjoying this very special time of the year.

image It’s a balmy 70 degrees outside which is a heat wave in this part of the world in May. Some of my bus buddies are headed to the beaches. Others are waxing poetic about going to Flower World in Snohomish. Did you know there is a petting zoo just across the street from there? Maybe I’ll take the grandkids there tomorrow.

I am seeing a lot of ladies with red shoes this year too. Red really pops because so much of business wear consists of dark and drab clothing. And some people are still wearing coats on the early morning bus.

I luv seeing the summer wear come out; I try not to stare too much at the pretty people. There are some scary looking people out there too. One young lady pushing 300 lbs had the whitest legs I have ever seen. Made me wonder where she plugged them in.

My favorite beach last year was the Idylwood Beach Park in Redmond. I lived two blocks away. Now in Bothell, I’m guessing I won’t be spending as much time at the beach.

Suzy and I spend some time basking in the sun at noon in our back yard. It was nice and toasty until a cloud rolled overhead. Still, dawgly and I have been out most of the morning. So I might get some color this weekend. Enjoy!

Nice post and picture. Maybe I’ll go and visit the beach some nice weekday. 😉
