Dad’s Message to the Faithful

At Church Again

About Gandalfe

Just an itinerant saxophonist trying to find life between the changes. I have retired from the Corps of Engineers and Microsoft. I am an admin on the Woodwind Forum, run the Seattle Solid GOLD Big Band (formerly the Microsoft Jumpin' Jive Orchestra) a GOLD sax quartet, and enjoy time with family and friends.

I listened to the entire thing.  :-)  Tell him I keep mine next to my favorite chair and have been thru it line by line.

Each day we find ourselves on that bridge sometimes teetering sometimes standing firm and strong. Life has a way of making us react being a part of its existence whether we choose to love the world or not. We still thrive in this gift of life.

I have found through my faith I try not to let go of each day. I try to keep my calendar out on my Bible I admit I use to read each and every day not only the days scripture but much more I could not pull myself away.

I admit although I too teeter from time to time I wish I could be stronger in my convictions. I feel wonderfully refreshed the Lord is with me everyday. When I read there is no other feeling it is indescribable to me the way I feel all through my day.

Your father is inspirational, insightful, humble and very wise. They say the apple does not fall far from the tree. I see the same qualities and integrity in you from your posts, referencing your family, life and friends.

Bless your father for he really is such a wonderful man, I loved listening to him refreshing indeed. Please thank him for gifting us with thoughtful accountability. My Bible is always in plain sight for everyone to read. No one can miss it! Not even me!

Have a grand Sunday Darling.Hugs Catherine
